Student Video Examples
The student examples were interesting and inspiring. The stereotypes of people were totally right on topic. People expect them to be people they are not. Asians do not have to grow up and become doctors and they can actually drive very well if they are taught. Black people do not have to have a grill and act a certain way. People are who they are and they like who they are. There is not many people in high school that are deprived of friends. Everyone is very friendly here. Make friends. Be outgoing. Having friends is comforting in your time of need. They are the only people that wont judge you (besides your parents). True friends don't stereotype.

Episode #1 Mr. Debt
This video disturbed me a little bit. The way he connected with the audience did not connect to me very well. His point was good but it wasn't really very interesting to understand. It was scary not knowing how much money I had in my account though. He helped people with trying to get out of debt. But I am young right now and I don't have debt yet. But it will help me in the future.
://Growing up Online by: PBS
All teenagers use the internet because all of them are trying to get everything directly at their fingertips. This movie stereotyped teenagers though. Not everyone uses the internet but "normal teenagers" use the internet and parents are extremely concerned with what teens are doing online. They have a right to do.

Kids+Money By: Lauren Greenfield
This video was interesting and very powerful. The shots and techniques that were used of how she showed emotions of the people who were being interviewed were very capitative. People spend way too much money that they don't have in this society. Everyone wants to be rich to show off in front of people who are lesser than them. To be normal, you need to look and act a certain way... again with the stereotyping. Norms. There are so many different definitions. Parents brought up kids to be spoiled brats by giving them everything they want. That is not good parenting.
